SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION

Confirmation is a sacrament.
Confirmation is the completion of our baptismal grace.
Confirmation brings the Holy Spirit to join us more closely to Jesus and his Church.
Confirmation seals and strengthens us as Christ's witnesses.
We receive the Sacrament of Confirmation only once.
Confirmation so conforms us to Christ that the sacrament can never be repeated.
The gifts of the Holy Spirit in Confirmation are: Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel, Fortitude, Knowledge, Piety, and the Fear of the Lord.
Rite of Confirmation, #25
"All powerful God, Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, by water and the Holy Spirit you freed your sons and daughters from sin and gave them new life. Send your Holy Spirit upon them to be their Helper and Guide. Give them the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of right judgment and courage, the spirit of knowledge and reverence. Fill them with the spirit of wonder and awe in your presence".
Now top THAT one could say. But if foolish charismatics would have it, that is exactly what they would promote… indeed that is what they promote: a Protestant born again experience and a different sort of seal.
