UNMASKING THE CHARISMATIC HERESY "For the time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine but, following their own desires and insatiable curiosity, will accumulate teachers and will stop listening to the truth and will be diverted to myths" 2 Timothy 4:3-4 - "False messiahs and false prophets will arise and will perform signs and wonders in order to mislead, if that were possible, the elect" Mark 13: 22 - "The smoke of Satan has entered the Church" Pope Paul VI

DELUSIONS OF GRANDEUR

”Without you [the seers] God cannot bring to reality that which He desires."

God has given a free will to everyone, and it’s in your control.”(Gospa in Jan. 30, 1986)

WHOA!

"Ivan Dragicevic stared intently at the statue of the Virgin Mary as thousands of people stared intently at him. They filled one side of the Loos Athletic Field House in Addison. All sat in rapt silence with the exception of a few outbursts by children too young to catch the solemn atmosphere. For Mr. Dragicevic, and for those who watched him Wednesday evening, these were minutes spent with the Mother of God. The young man is one of six world-famous Medjugorje visionaries who, their followers believe, were first visited by the mother of Jesus in 1981, outside their village in what once was Yugoslavia." From an article by Hector Avalos titled Mary at Medjugorje: A Critical Inquiry (Dallas Morning News, 1994)

Ivan decides during his Prayer Experience Pilgrimages the prayers or scripture readings and the intentions for the day. What puts Ivan above the Catholic Church? Why can’t he follow the Liturgical Calendar, or the Liturgy of the Hours? Why is Ivan deciding the prayers? The answer is because he can. Between speaking engagements Ivan sells Prayer Experience Packages at $2,999.00 per head to stay at his house in Medjugorje. Ivan can do that, because he is member of an exclusive club; the wealthy, upwardly mobile, globe trotting, BMW driving society of visionaries.

About Me

Canada
I am a recovering charismatic and a Catholic Orthodox; observing orthopraxis to the best of my ability. I acknowledge what the Church REALLY DOES TEACH; opposed to what some people erroneously say the Church teaches. “Catholic Orthodoxy” is proposed "to conform to the Catholic faith as taught by the Magisterium of the Church. So an "orthodox" person is one who is FAITHFUL to the teachings of the Church, whereas a "heterodox" person is somebody who rejects ANY Catholic dogma. Orthopraxis means "Performing the correct actions". Catholic Orthodoxy is defined by the Catechism: it tells us what we have to TO BELIEVE. Catholic Orthopraxis is denoted by the Code of Canon Law: it spells out what we have TO DO. Because “Truth is not determined by a majority vote" -- Pope Benedict XVI.
