UNMASKING THE CHARISMATIC HERESY "For the time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine but, following their own desires and insatiable curiosity, will accumulate teachers and will stop listening to the truth and will be diverted to myths" 2 Timothy 4:3-4 - "False messiahs and false prophets will arise and will perform signs and wonders in order to mislead, if that were possible, the elect" Mark 13: 22 - "The smoke of Satan has entered the Church" Pope Paul VI

FRUITCAKE DIMENSION

Believe it or not this photo shows the Gospa’s eyes in the clouds ;-)

Father Pavich the ardent supporter turned critic of the Medjugorje apparition business complains about the burgeoning apparition mania around the world: "Medjugorje has spawned 400 visionaries in the United States," "They got 'em in every state. It's a ridiculous, pandemic situation. It's totally out of control.”

"I mean, it is a sick visionary world. Canada, the United States, Australia … everybody that has touched Medjugorje has spawned a whole new petri dish of visionaries."

Like Fr Sudac

Father Sudac lives in Krk, Croatia. He too cashed into the Medjugorje pilgrim business. He runs a retreat house in Krk and takes pilgrims to Medjugorje for 5 day retreats. And for $2,300, you too can take a trip to Medjugorje, that includes five days with Father Sudac –you will be one of 90 people – the pilgrim business is a good one. And following in the footsteps of his visionary colleagues from Medjugorje, Fr Sudac has also taken up running around the world; selling his wonders and cashing in on the gullibility of apparition seekers.

Who is Fr Sudac?

“Fr. Sudac recieved the cross on his forehead 1999 on the Friday after the beatification of Padre Pio. After he received the cross, he was sent to the Gemelli Clinic in Rome to be investigated. The exhaustive investigation concluded that Fr. Sudac's cross was not of human origin, i.e. that it was formed in a way that medical science could not explain. Fr. Sudac received the stigmata on his wrists, feet and side on October 4, 2000, the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi, who was the first person in the history of the Church to received the stigmata.” “Father Sudac has received other gifts as well, such as levitation and bilocation, but the priest doesn’t like to dwell on them.” Finally Medjugorje produced a living saint… are we blessed or what?

Fr Sudac:
"Don't look into politics! don't look into ideologies! Don't look into magics!" Don't look into spiritism! Don't look into Santería! Don't be afraid of sin! There is no sin! Jesus Christ died to banish sin from this world! Open yourself! Make room in your heart. Then he will come in there in those places. He will come real fast!"

Then, growing quiet, Sudac began to talk about himself. "You've heard of me, you know who I am," he said plaintively. "I am a young priest. Only 31. But I am not so young not to see that many crazy things go on in this world. Things beyond explaining. Does it matter if I am a saint? I don't think so. Only Jesus matters." What kind of Catholic priest calls himself a saint? Besides he talks a little too much about himself! No saint does that. He should be telling the crowds to repent. But instead he is telling people there is no sin.

Besides priests just aren’t supposed to be leading 'pilgrimages' to Medjugorje!

On the left: St Pio's stigmata, on the right: Fr Sudac's wounds

According to the Bible the nails went though the hands of Jesus. Fr Sudac’s supposed stigmata is on the arm, approximately two to two and a half inches below the wrist.

Father Sudac’s wound does not even support the modern theory that the location of the nails should have been in the wrist; between the carpals and radius with probable transection of median nerve and impalement of flexor pollicis longus and without injury to major arterial trunks or fractures of bones.

If the Bible is inaccurate and Jesus had a wrist wounds, Fr Sudac’s arm wounds are STILL inaccurate!

Real stigmata on the forehead is not in the form of a small cross! The crown of thorns left holes on Christ’s forehead. If Fr Sudac’s stigmata were not caused by human intervention… what could have done it? He plucks his eyebrows, claims to have healing powers, bilocation, levitation, and psychic powers – I detect the smell of sulphur around this guy!

How could a not so little a detail escape so many people?

The Church has not ruled on Fr Sudac yet, but the red flags are stacking up against this Medjugorje inspired “stigmatist”!

About Me

My photo
Canada
I am a recovering charismatic and a Catholic Orthodox; observing orthopraxis to the best of my ability. I acknowledge what the Church REALLY DOES TEACH; opposed to what some people erroneously say the Church teaches. “Catholic Orthodoxy” is proposed "to conform to the Catholic faith as taught by the Magisterium of the Church. So an "orthodox" person is one who is FAITHFUL to the teachings of the Church, whereas a "heterodox" person is somebody who rejects ANY Catholic dogma. Orthopraxis means "Performing the correct actions". Catholic Orthodoxy is defined by the Catechism: it tells us what we have to TO BELIEVE. Catholic Orthopraxis is denoted by the Code of Canon Law: it spells out what we have TO DO. Because “Truth is not determined by a majority vote" -- Pope Benedict XVI.
