UNMASKING THE CHARISMATIC HERESY "For the time will come when people will not tolerate sound doctrine but, following their own desires and insatiable curiosity, will accumulate teachers and will stop listening to the truth and will be diverted to myths" 2 Timothy 4:3-4 - "False messiahs and false prophets will arise and will perform signs and wonders in order to mislead, if that were possible, the elect" Mark 13: 22 - "The smoke of Satan has entered the Church" Pope Paul VI

ART OF THE DEVIL

There is art BAD for church

There is Op Art -- very bad for church

There is kitsch -- bad everywhere

(Nothing is wrong with a picnic basket except when it serves as a tabernacle.)

and some REALLY BAD kitsch

There is BAD art in church.

And tadaaa! There is DADA!

Is Dada “art” of the Devil? Dada may not be intrinsically evil, not if it’s used as a social commentary; but installing it inside Catholic churches is a whole different ballgame. Think about it! What are churches? Churches are houses for God worship. Now take Dada. Dadaism is a nihilistic arts movement based on deliberate irrationality, anarchy, and cynicism and the rejection of laws of beauty and social organization. Dada is the antithesis of God worship.

What type of individual decides to bring Dada into a place of God worship? It would be preferable if the decision was based on ignorance rather than understanding… after all deliberately undermining God worship is craft of the Devil. Keep in mind, objection to Dada inside churches has NOTHING to do with sensitivity to art or style preference! It has to do with what Dada actually is; irrational and rebellious anti-art. There is no excuse to have Dada inside Catholic churches, none whatsoever!

Then there is the shrine to the "intercessor of suicides" in Linz, Austria.
BAD in every respect:

About Me

I am a recovering charismatic and a Catholic Orthodox; observing orthopraxis to the best of my ability. I acknowledge what the Church REALLY DOES TEACH; opposed to what some people erroneously say the Church teaches. “Catholic Orthodoxy” is proposed "to conform to the Catholic faith as taught by the Magisterium of the Church. So an "orthodox" person is one who is FAITHFUL to the teachings of the Church, whereas a "heterodox" person is somebody who rejects ANY Catholic dogma. Orthopraxis means "Performing the correct actions". Catholic Orthodoxy is defined by the Catechism: it tells us what we have to TO BELIEVE. Catholic Orthopraxis is denoted by the Code of Canon Law: it spells out what we have TO DO. Because “Truth is not determined by a majority vote" -- Pope Benedict XVI.
